It is with regret that Collingdale Fire Company No.1 reports the passing of 50+ Year Life Member Al Nied. (pronounced "need") Mr. Neid during his active years was an extremely active fire fighter and community supporter. As a younger man, Al ran a local service station and on more than a few occasions, he was known to shut down to answer a citizen's call for help. Al left behind his wife, Genevieve and more than a few people who will miss him. To his family and his many friends, Collingdale No.1 sends its sincerest condolences.
