After the Collingdale Fourth of July Parade, Collingdale Fire Company #1 hosted a Family Fun Day at Collingdale Park from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. The day included several moon bounces, Fire Truck rides and other fun rides for the children of Collingdale Borough. Also included in the Family Fun Day was a free barbeque for all the residents of Collingdale. The Fire Company gave away free hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and corn on the cob.Family Fun Day kicked off one of the last events Collingdale Fire Company #1 hosted to celebrate the 100th Year of Dedicated Service to our Community. The day was a great success and all the members of Collingdale Fire Company #1 were able to relax later that night and enjoy the Firework display at the Collingdale
Community Center. Thanks to the Collingdale Fourth of July Committee for allowing Collingdale Fire Company #1 to hold this event at Collingdale
Park this year.
