Today members of Collingdale Fire Company #1 and their families were able to take a break from all the hard work they have put out over the past few months to make our Centennial Celebration a great success. Members enjoyed a festive day during our Fire Company Picnic held at Brandywine Park. Brandywine Park offers a wide variety of festivities including: Tubing down the Brandywine Creek, Paddle boats, Canoeing, Games, Rides, Rock Climbing, Miniature Golf, a Delicious buffet of picnic food and much more. Members in attendance took part in a large volleyball game as well as the opportunity to dunk the President, the President's Son and the Chief in the dunk tank. The next function the members of Collingdale Fire Company #1 get to look forward to is the 100th Anniversary Fire Company Banquet held on Saturday, October 7th in Floral Hall.
