Around 2:20 this afternoon Companies 06,42 and RIT 44 were dispatched to 710 Pusey Ave, Collingdale for the Building Fire, reported to be the rear deck. 65 Cars went on location reporting a deck fully involved. Quint 06 Under the Command of 06-9A (Asst Chief Hanly) went on location and confirmed a working deck fire attached to the rear of the dwelling and went in service with 1 3/4 hand line, and pulled a second 1 3/4 as a backup line, Engine 42 picked up the plug at Pusey and Sharon and laid into Quint 06. 06-1, 06-2 and Engine 42's crews checked the residence and the attached residence for extension and then began overhaul. Crews worked well together and brought the situation under control quickly.
