Just spotted your website, you look a lot different than I remembered when I was a member from the late '70's to the mid 90's. Had a blast when I was a member and enjoyed the friendship that I made during my tenure as a member. Thanks for the memories and keep up the great work that you do. |

Grew up down the street from the Felker's, and remember fondly Mr. Felker taking Eric and I up to the station. My aunt and Uncle also lived across the street on Bedford AVE. I remember that whistle scaring the beejeebers outta me. Great website...keep up the good work...stay safe and thanks. |

I am so impressed with your website. I am the daughter of one of the firefighters listed on your In Memoriam page and the sister of one of your 50 year life members, both named Roy VE Rogers. My uncle , Albert (Binnie) DeGutis was also a liftetime member. Since we lived only about a block away, my childhood memories are forever entwined with the firehouse: carnivals, childrens' Christmas parties, banquets, the call to duty of both my father and my brother,( so many interrupted meals!) and tragically, my father's passing. It takes a special kind of person to volunteer his or her time to risk one's own safety to save the lives and property of others. Thank God there are people like all of you. |

I would imagine that the scully fire consumed your entire fire department? It looks as if there were several other Ladder companies from mutual aid depts? WOW! what a frigin fire! We have a plant in our counties city seat, Buchanan, my first in area. I hope it dont pull a "Scully" on us one day. lol Yall be safe up there. |

I grew up at the firehouse, have lots of GREAT memories there the party's after the carnival and working the carnival's. And all of the families we have a connection with. I am so proud of you guys. Love you Dad (Trigger) Keep up the GREAT work!!! |

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! I would have been petrified.....but not you guys...you rolled right up to Scully's without a thought of your own safety! I know that the people whose lives you saved yesterday are MORE than greatful! I know I am, part of my family lives on Lafayette.....you got them out of harms way as soon as you saw what was happening! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!! You are THE BEST!!!!! |
