Quint 6 is the first responding piece of apparatus from our station to all building fires. It is also the first responding piece to almost our entire mutual aide. This piece of apparatus is a 1995 Pierce Lance Quint with a 105-foot Aerial Device. Quint 6 is also equipped with tools and equipment for almost all situations we encounter. Quint 6 is equipped with a 2,000 gallon per minute pump that feeds all of our hand lines. Quint 6 is also equipped with a large amount of forcible entry , including several halogen bars, axes, pry bars, hooks, mauls, power saws and one battering ram used to force doors. Engine 06-1 is the first-out piece of apparatus on all in our local except for building fires. Engine 06-1 is a 2003 Saulsbury Rescue Pumper equipped with a 1750 gallon per minute pump. It is equipped with seating for a driver, officer, and up to four other fire fighters. This Engine carries three and half inch and five inch water supply line, two 200-feet of pre-connected 2-inch attack lines; two 150-feet pre-connected inch and three-quarter attack lines and a 200-foot one-inch booster line for small brush fires. An EMT employed by Collingdale Fire Company #1 and a Paramedic fom Taylor Hospital staff Medic 06-7. We carry all the latest medical equipment and supplies. Medic 06-7 serves in a rotation with 06-7A every two weeks, when not in use this ambulance serves as the companies third ambulance on third emergencies in the local.

This unit is used when Medic 06-7 and 06-7A are already out on emergency calls or when one of the other ambulances has to go in the shop to have maintenance done. Utility 6 is a 2007 Ford F-350. The utility is a six person vehicle that will be used to transport firefighters to and from fire scenes. The utility will be equipped with oil dry to assist with accident cleanup as well will be used on ambulance assists. The utility is also used to haul around the Fire Prevention Trailer to surrounding Fire Companies during Fire Prevention Month.

The front portion of the vehicle highlights identifying and preventing kitchen and living area hazards. The back of the vehicle emphasizes training for 2 ways out and features a heated door and smoke for a more realistic educational lesson. The vehicle is ADA compliant and is wheelchair accessible.
